As I sit here in my bubble bath, (I just discovered Lush!), typing away, listening to a podcast, at midnight, on my birthday…I realized how far I have come with my business. I started my photography as an official business a little over 3 years ago and weddings FREAKED ME OUT! Until I did one. Love. I fell in love with love. I fell in love with my couples. Now, that’s all I do. I specialize in documenting love.

During this time, after the holidays, after the hustle and bustle, and the air crisps, that’s when I look at where I have been to see where I want to go.

The last time I did this, I was turning 16. I was dating an AWESOME guy (who, after Facebook stalking, turned out to be an amazing husband and father), but I wanted more. I wanted to to start the year fresh, free…after all, I was going to be 16…I didn’t want to be tied down! So, I broke up with him. This time, my husband can breath easy…I am not wanting to be that free 🙂 I just want to blog more! I want my couples and potential couples to know me. To know my story, and to know that the person behind the camera cares. That, after all is why I do this.

My end to 2017 started with a new website and a new plan. The beginning of 2018, is the new start of implementing my plan.  My uncle, Andrew, joined AeBPhotos in 2017. After we realized that we actually work really good together, I changed our name to Ashley Brunell Photography, and starting January 2018, he will be my second lead photographer!!

When we officially came together, we also narrowed down our ideal bride!  I think I am most excited about that. I want to become intentional about who becomes an AeBride!
