The day started with bubbly personalities and bubbly drinks at the beautiful Marriot Timber Lodge at Heavenly Village Way in South Lake Tahoe. I walked in, found Lauren then one by one I met her amazing bridesmaids and family. From the moment I met them all, I knew it was going to be a fun, energy-filled day! I loved how this day started.

Lauren wasn’t in her dress yet, she just had on her PJs and her hair and makeup were still being done… but everyone was so laid back. It was perfect. The getting ready continued and once the dress was on, her bridesmaids had their “first look”! The moment came and the tears flowed. What a beautiful thing it is to have such a sweet and tender relationship with your family and friends.

I watched these interactions continue throughout the entire day. Teary glances, big emotions, so much excitement…. it was perfect. Her dress was stunning and so “her”. The weather was unbelievable. The views throughout the day was exactly what I wanted. It was overall just a perfect day and it was such an honor to be there. Covid made Martin and Lauren’s South Lake Tahoe wedding cruise a little different than they imagined but it was absolutely wonderful. (They rescheduled their wedding THREE times!)

Martin and Lauren it is such an honor to be the ones trusted to capture this exciting season of your life!!! Your love for one another and deep care for your family and friends was such a gift to experience. What a beautiful new chapter you have started! We’re so happy for you!!
