Oh, friends, I am so excited to share this Fountainbleau Clubhouse Wedding with you today! My relationship started about a year ago with Vickie. She came to our first meeting with her daughter, Kayla, and we had a blast! I couldn’t wait to meet Michael.
Vickie and Michael planned their wedding for St. Patrick’s Day 2018, and the day was flawless from start to finish. From the gorgeous florals by Final Touch Studios to the custom details of the bride’s shoes. Every single detail of the day felt like it was straight out of a magazine. I was in photographer heaven.
Obviously, March in Kansas is still very cold and very “wintery”! Despite the chilly temperature and the lack of leaves on the trees, I was still able to capture images that are bright and airy! We had to get a little creative, but thankfully Vickie and Michael trusted me.
But what stuck out to Andrew and I most was the incredible love, warmth and sincerity of Vickie, Michael, and everyone around them. The second we walked into the getting ready room, Vickie greeted us with a huge smile that made us feel like family. Vickie’s bridesmaids/daughters were each so sweet and genuinely excited to be a part of each moment of their day. During the reception, you could FEEL the love and closeness shared not just by the couple, but by every single person in the room.
At the end of the night, we had a moment to hug Vickie and Michael goodbye, Vickie was barefoot, still smiling, relaxed, and happy.
That’s just the kind of people they are.
Vickie and Michael, thank you for allowing us to be part of your family for the day. It was truly an honor, and I am so excited for you to see a few of my many favorites!
