Hello, and welcome to the AeBlog! I'm Ashley Brunell, and my husband, Isaac, and I are a wedding photography team based in Camas, Washington. We hope you grab some coffee (or a sweet tea, in my case) and enjoy viewing our latest work and getting a little peek into our life!
Welcome Friends
This weekend was a blast! It was our first Memorial Day Weekend in LA, and took advantage!
Kiddos got out of school at noon on Friday, and we went straight to lunch and the park. Saturday, we slept in, got a new washer, (perk about renting and living in an apartment, one phone call and everything is handled), then we went to the movies! We saw the new live action Aladdin. I was pleasantly surprised. I like it. Afterwards, we went to the Apple Store. If anyone tells you not to buy the Apple Care, do not listen! I was having issues with my phone, and with no questions asked, handed me a new phone. And since we were already in Manhattan Beach, we decided to actually head down to the beach. I have never been down there. Beautiful! Stubbled on a great 25/7 diner for dinner, then headed home.
Sunday, we slept in again, and with everyone off on Monday, we decided to go to Universal Studios! Got there around 4pm, and stayed until close. When we moved to the LA area last year, we bought the annual pass to Universal Studios. Best decision ever!
“There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all.” – Peter F. Drucker Week 3 is all about the kitchen. I am still battling with all the paperwork that seems to be taking over as I get caught up on laundry. Either I am just now noticing it, […]
It is officially 28 days until I leave! My trip is starting to take shape. I will fly into Germany, go to Italy, visit Netherlands, back to Germany (?), then back to Italy to visit Rome with my mom to end my trip. I am starting to hit a wall with my cleaning goals. I […]
This week I am focusing on staying caught up on laundry, kids’ school paperwork, trash and recycling. I am also throwing in there waking up earlier and cutting out soda. I don’t drink coffee. So, soda and tea replace my drink of choice. When I wrote my blog on what I thought moving to LA […]
“A mother understands what a child does not say.” —Jewish proverb Yesterday was a blast! I left my camera at home and enjoyed just being with my family. We went to The Aquarium of the Pacific. Then we had a wonderful lunch out, and walked the Long Beach Pier. My kiddos had an early bedtime while […]
This week is all about laundry and the dreaded paper piles. Almost no matter what I do…we have a TON of paper. Anyone else? Also, the laundry is always behind. I don’t want to leave a mess for Isaac when I am gone. So, finally getting a schedule started AND followed! Living in an apartment, […]
