Hello, and welcome to the AeBlog! I'm Ashley Brunell, and my husband, Isaac, and I are a wedding photography team based in Camas, Washington. We hope you grab some coffee (or a sweet tea, in my case) and enjoy viewing our latest work and getting a little peek into our life!
Welcome Friends
The day started at the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano. We had access to the whole property for photos and it was PERFECT for their first look! Even though the global pandemic made their day look different than originally planned, they didn’t complain and they remained joyful and excited. And they had so much to stay excited about!!
Surrounded by their family at Saint Kilian Catholic Church, they pledged to be each other’s person for the rest of their life. I hope Kristine and Warren remember how powerful and special this day was. It’s the beginning of their new life together as their own family.
Overall, we love this sweet couple and we love this family. I can’t explain how much of an honor it is to be asked to photograph their wedding!! Kristine and Warren, thank you for inviting us into your life, and thank you for trusting us with your gorgeous Orange County wedding!! Enjoy my favorites from your day and enjoy this new season!!! See you in 2021!

An Engagement in Woodland, Washington Miranda and Alex met this past fall and they just KNEW they were meant to spend the rest of their life together. Coming from someone who also just knew quickly, this is incredible to me! What an awesome story they will have to share for the rest of their lives! […]
A Yosemite National Park Destination Wedding in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. Imagine getting an email from one of your sweetest couples saying that they wanted to jump on a Zoom call for some “Big News”. I think I had some crazy scenarios going through my head. (It is 2020 after all!) Luckily, they just wanted […]
Last week I got a message from my business accountability partner Erica asking if I had written my blog post on my “why”, MY MISSION. Nope, I hadn’t. And instead of saying just that, I gave ALL the excuses as to why it wasn’t done. At this moment in time, with the world how it is, it’s easy to give in to the negativity. I gave myself a little grace from 2019 and two months to sit with what was happening around me. And it was glorious.
Something so special about my time with couples during their engagement session. It’s really my first time to ever interact with them and it gives me a preview of what to expect for the wedding day!…. After Lauren and Marty’s session.. I can’t WAIT for the wedding day! October can’t come fast enough!! My job […]
Backyard weddings are unlike any type of wedding. There is something so relaxed and welcoming about them. I knew as soon as I read Amanda’s first email about what they were envisioning for their big day that this wedding was going to be a ton of fun! Omar and Amanda wanted to get married at […]
